My mom has been super supportive of me working for an NGO so when she gives me a wish list of items to bring back from my travels I relish the quest to check them all off.
The last item was checked off today when I found the black pearl earrings she wanted to match the necklace she got from this same kiosk over two years ago.
I always envisioned these areas always been packed with wall to wall people which I can not do well. Glad to see that isn't always the case.

It helps if you can sneak out in the middle of the afternoon.
DeleteHow cool that you found them at the same kiosk! I've just come to your blog from another I'm following and he wrote about the Pirates of the Caribbean, http://www.beingretro.com/2015/04/p-is-for-pirates-of-carribbean-to-z.html which is what I thought of when I saw the name of your post! ReplyDeleteTo be fair, we lived here for 2 years and brought all our guest to this shop to buy gifts. In the Philippines you develop relationships with sellers.
DeleteAnd yes, I was kind of referencing Pirates. :P
